The opportunity

As the Global CFO Network expands its service offering, we’re looking for experienced Finance leaders to join our Executive Advisor panel, and work closely with our members to help them achieve functional and business goals, overcome challenges and improve Finance productivity.

As an Executive Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to work on specific functional and business problems identified by our member company Chief Financial Officers and their senior Finance teams. This is a unique opportunity be exposed to a vast array of issues facing large multinational companies in our two regions: the Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East & Africa.

This is a remote contractor role that can be based in any location worldwide. You may maintain other employment, but it must not conflict with your commitments to us or our members. We will conduct a conflict-of-interest check prior to each assignment.

Responsibilities:

Client service

  • Engage with member questions via email and CRM-driven forms.

  • Conduct desk research on Finance issues in one or more of four areas: Platforms, Processes, People and Operations.

  • Respond to questions in written form using this desk research and your operational experience.

  • Respond to any followup questions via email.

Selection criteria:

  • At least 15 years’ experience in senior Finance roles, including CFO, Financial Controller or Head of FP&A

  • Proven client relationship skills.

  • Excellent written English communication ability.

  • Demonstrable understanding of key issues facing multinational companies, as well as the nuances of complex organisational structures.

  • Experience in a senior Finance leadership role in at least one of our two regions: Asia Pacific, or Europe, Middle East & Africa.
