The opportunity

As the Global CFO Network expands its presence in Asia Pacific, we’re looking for a highly-motivated individual to join us - either as an employee or independent contractor - to help ensure our member executives and companies generate maximum value from their membership.

As Account Manager, you’ll have responsibility for working closely with member company Chief Financial Officers and their senior Finance teams to help them leverage our services to achieve their functional and commercial goals, driving a high rate of member renewal.

This is a unique opportunity to engage with large multinational companies at a senior executive level, and build personal relationships with senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

Client relations and renewals

You will be responsible for member satisfaction and retention:

• Regular 1:1 meetings with member CFOs to ensure they have a clear understanding of the organisational value of our services.

• Driving registration and attendance at our events.

• Identifying and tracking other metrics as required to drive renewals.

Client service

• Engage with clients in person, and via email, to drive demand for our ExperienceBank client query services.

• Be an initial point of call for ExperienceBank enquiries.

• Engage with clients to drive demand for our Finance team workshops and presentations.

• Host and facilitate some of our smaller events.

Selection criteria:

• 10 years’ experience in a commercial environment. A background in media, communications or consulting would be viewed favourably.

• Strong client relationship and account management skills.

• Executive presence and gravitas.

• Demonstrable understanding of key issues facing multinational companies in the Asia Pacific region, as well as the nuances of complex organisational structures.

• Curiosity about people, businesses, events and nations, and an ability to connect macro issues to business performance.

About us

The Global CFO Network is a membership-based organisation for the Chief Financial Officers and Finance personnel of multinational companies. The group provides a range of services, including events and conferences, workshops and training, and research and consulting. The group has two chapters, one in Asia Pacific, and the other in Europe.

• This is a hybrid (Singapore-based) role, however, frequent attendance at client events and onsite external meetings is required.
